What’s been happening at Athena since we launched?

Since our launch event in February, we have held our first two Athena Executive Club meetings and the first official Cappuccino Connections in March.

The Athena Network Executive Club

The first Athena Executive Club meetings were held in one of the beautiful boardrooms within Singapore’s 5* Mandarin Oriental Hotel where up to 20 businesswomen and entrepreneurs (including existing members and visitors) met, connected and enjoyed a business lunch while developing their networking and business skills.

On March 30th, we held our first official Cappuccino Connections meeting at The Axis Lounge, Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Cappuccino Connections meetings offer existing Athena members as well as visitors, the opportunity to network in a relaxed, informal setting. Cappuccino Connections are a great introduction for visitors to meet The Athena Network Singapore team and experience how to network the Athena way.

We often invite guest speakers to provide a short presentation on a topic of relevance to local business owners. In March, we were delighted that Xuling Xu from the Enterprise Development Centre joined us to provide information about the various government grants and schemes which are available to grow local businesses in Singapore.

Our monthly Cappuccino Connections meetings are often booked up early. Register here for the next meeting.

I work for fun-loving, driven individuals, entrepreneurs and small businesses who want to invest in content that reaches the right people, with the right words, at the right time. I’m in my element when helping clients put their content into context – whether for website copy, marketing campaigns, article writing and editing, blog posts, newsletters, social media feeds or printed collateral. I’m fanatical about syntax, apostrophes and metaphors so my clients don’t have to be. They call this content strategy – I call it getting paid to have fun with words!"
